Respiratory Care

The respiratory therapists of Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center (NMRMC) help patients with lung or breathing disorders.

Working under your doctor's direction, our therapists help patients with lung and breathing conditions such as asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or who have suffered a heart attack, stroke, or other disease or illness affecting the lungs.

This department offers both inpatient and outpatient services including:

  • Arterial blood gases (ABG)
  • Electrocardiogram (EKG)
  • Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT)
  • Electroencephalogram (EEG)

In addition, the sleep lab is part of this department’s services, helping diagnose sleep-related disorders.

We're here when you need us. Respiratory therapists are available 24 hours-a-day. Routine procedures are generally performed Monday through Friday by appointment.
