Visiting Guidelines

Welcome to Neosho Memorial. We have the following visiting guidelines in place. They are designed to protect our patients, community and staff.  Guidelines may change without notice. If you have questions, feel free to call us at 620-431-4000.  

All Visitors

  • Visitors are screened for symptoms, exposure to COVID-19 and travel risks upon entry.
  • Any visitor who has a fever or other cold or flu-like symptoms will not be allowed in our facility.
  • Everyone must wear a hospital-issued mask at all times while in the building.
  • Visitors must practice hand hygiene and social distance.

For Inpatient, Surgery, and Observation units

  • Patients may have two visitors per day
  • Hospital-issued masks are required while in the building, you will be issued a medical grade mask to switch out
  • Visitors must remain at point of destination (patient room/clinic/waiting room)
  • Obstetric patients may have two partners/persons accompany them
  • For the nursery, the birth parent plus one significant other
  • Pediatric patients who are under the age of 18 may have two visitors
  • Patients who are at the end-of-life may have 2 patient-designated visitors in the building at a time
  • Chaplains and clery are premitted to visit all patients
  • A patient's condition or preference may further limit these general guidelines.
  • Visitors are not allowed in the room of COVID-19 Patients or Persons Under Investigation for COVID-19

For NMRMC Outpatient Services including Hospital Clinic visits, Lab, and Imaging Services

  • Patients who have an appointment at an NMRMC hospital-based clinic, lab, imaging services are encouraged to limit visitors, but may have up to 2 visitors for most outpatient appointments.
  • Patients and their visitors are required to wear masks at all times while in the building, and will be given a medical grade mask upon entry.
  • Visitors must remain at point of the patients destination (patient room/clinic/waiting room etc.)
  • Visitors are not allowed in the room of COVID-19 Patients or Persons Under Investigation for COVID-19

Best Cafe

 At this time, the Best Cafe is open to visitors of patients for take-out orders only. Hours are Monday - Friday 7 am - 7 pm. The Cafe is closed on the weekends.
