Automated Breast Ultrasound & Mammography Services

The equation is quite simple: The earlier you find cancer, the greater your chance of survival. Although you can’t control risk factors such as age or family history, women can help reduce the risk of breast cancer by scheduling routine mammograms or breast ultrasounds at Neosho Memorial.

Neosho Memorial is proud to offer one of the only dedicated Automated Breast Ultrasound machines in Eastern Kansas. This advanced technology is designed specifically for dense breast tissue helping physicians see what may be hidden in dense tissue. Ask your provider if this exam is for you.

Neosho Memorial also offers 3D mammography in Chanute. True Breast Tomosynthesis (3D mammograms) helps improve the ability to diagnose potential breast cancer. During the exam, the x-ray tube moves in an arch over the breast taking pictures which are reassembled into a three dimensional view. The technology creates a better image for earlier detection.
