Sixth Annual Chanute Mother's Day Run/Walk Set for May 3, 2025

 

CHANUTE, Kan. — Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center and the Jennifer Dietsch State Farm Office are excited to announce the sixth annual Chanute Mother's Day Run/Walk, taking place Saturday, May 3, 2025, beginning at 8:30 a.m. at 1518 S. Santa Fe, Chanute, Kansas.

Mothers Day 5K1 Mile RunWalk

This non-competitive, family friendly event is the perfect way to celebrate Mom with a morning of fun, and community spirit. All ages and fitness levels are welcome to join in the run or walk, which travels from the Jennifer Dietsch State Farm Office to Santa Fe Park and back.

Held the weekend before Mother's Day, the timing helps participants avoid conflicts with local graduation ceremonies while still celebrating the special women in their lives.

  • Route: From Jennifer Dietsch State Farm Office to Santa Fe Park and back
  • Registration: No registration required; just show up and move!

Now in its sixth year, the Chanute Mother's Day Run/Walk began during the COVID-19 pandemic as a safe and uplifting way for families to stay active together. It has since grown into an annual tradition that reflects Chanute's strong community ties and commitment to health and wellness.

Participants are encouraged to walk, jog, or run solo or with friends and family. Share your photos and experiences online with the hashtag #ChanuteMothersDayRun2025.
