Hand surgeon, Alexander Mih, MD received the 2018 NMRMC Best High Performing
Physician Award. Dr. Mih has furthered the hospital’s Orthopedic
Clinic’s reputation for quality and service. He was honored during the
December medical staff meeting

Dr. Mih joined Neosho Memorial in December 2015. He has over 25 years of
experience in treating disorders of the hand, wrist, elbow and
shoulders. A board certified orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Mih has achieved
the Certificate of Added Qualification for Hand Surgery.
A native of Chanute, Dr. Mih received his medical degree from the Johns
Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland, completed a
residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the Mayo Clinic and fellowship
training in Hand and Upper Extremity surgery at the Indiana Hand to
Shoulder Center. Since 1990, Dr. Mih was an attending surgeon at the
Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center and an Associate Professor of Orthopedic
Surgery at the Indiana University School of Medicine. He has written
numerous scientific articles and textbook chapters for orthopedic
publications and has been a frequent speaker at national and
international conferences.
